one annoyance with using a YubiKey for authentication is having to randomly go fetch your physical keyring

and then remembering to put it back where it belongs later

@robdaemon since I got it I haven't been prompted. Was just thinking the other day I should check what triggers the prompt. My backup key is plugged in on my desktop.

@copperred I get periodically asked for my work accounts. I have no clue what its expiration schedule actually is.

I've been trying to replace my 2FA OTA codes with the YubiKey but that's a slow-going process.

@robdaemon Why I now keep a 5C Nano in my computer and have an AirTag on my backup Yubikey since otherwise I’d never be able to find it.

@alpha at my last job I had to use a FIPS YubiKey, I kept a Tile tracker on it after losing one twice
