Friend: asking me if i "have any opinions about good apple watch bands"
Me: opening my file of research and letting uncountable notes fly out and blanket the earth in darkness
@themindfulbit The short version is I mostly stick to Spigen bands. They aren't the cheapest but they have proven to be pretty reliable quality. I change bands daily since I am a gross sweat monster when I workout. I do have some off brand knockoff bands but mostly it's the Spigen's that I wear:

and
@ethanschoonover They look nice, I’ll have to give them a try.
Similar problems with sweat and wrist swelling/tingling led me to stick with the Milanese on my Ultra. The ability to adjust without taking the watch off worked ok, but the magnetic attachment isn’t optimal.
@themindfulbit oh whoops sorry i was trying to reply to @alpha 's query but I appreciate you taking that reply in good faith!
@alpha Sorry I misreplied, but here's the summary: https://mastodon.social/@ethanschoonover/112645132775985826
@ethanschoonover Still helpful and appreciated, my friend!

@alpha Oh, nice! Before I switched back to an analog watch, I wore out two pairs of these:
