@alpha I agree wholeheartedly. I’ve been observing an increase of my colleagues with a multitude of aliases like gp=git push and it feels like it’s optimizing for the wrong thing
When your test suit takes a minimum of 25 seconds to give feedback, shaving 500ms off switching or creating branches is insanely illogical.
@Leftsaidtim @alpha Yeah and like, if there's a long command that you use all the time, that's what ctrl+r is for!
@Leftsaidtim @alpha I did work with a team once that had a set of aliases that defined a common git workflow they all used (that involved syncing branches) and that seemed sensible to me.
