I wonder why they measure baby height in inches and head circumference in centimeters at our pediatrician’s.

@alpha centimeters are more precise and the head is smaller around than they are tall

At least that’s my wife’s theory and it’s better than anything I can come up with ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
